More than 100 people were injured as a result of typhoon "Blew" in Taiwan, one person was missing. This was reported on August 14 in the Taiwan News newspaper.

"The search continues for a man who was swept into the Taiwan Strait while fishing in Chiayi during a typhoon... Lin was the only one missing during the storm, more than 100 people were injured," the article says.

According to the newspaper, during the typhoon, a man surnamed Lin was swept away by a wave into the sea, his search continues.

The day before, it was reported that typhoon "Blew" hit the southeastern coast of Taiwan. According to the Reuters news agency, the disaster brought with it strong winds with a speed of 191 km/h (53 m/s). Local authorities said that more than 5.5 thousand people were evacuated due to the approach of the typhoon.
