Air defense systems shot down eight unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Belgorod and Kursk regions. This was announced on Thursday, August 14, by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"In the period from 08:00 to 11:00 Moscow time, eight Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that seven UAVs were eliminated over the Belgorod region and another one over the Kursk region.
