The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has published a map of the country's regions that could theoretically have been hit by the Ukrainian Sapsan tactical missile system. This was reported on August 14 by the FSB Public Relations Center.

It is specified that this complex was capable of attacking targets at a distance of up to 750 km. According to the ministry, cities such as Moscow, Voronezh, Smolensk, Tver, Tula, Ryazan, Kursk and Vladimir have fallen into the affected area.
It is also reported that the Sapsan rocket could theoretically reach any city on the territory of Belarus.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that the Russian Armed Forces had prevented the development of the Sapsan missile defense system. Russian military personnel attacked four facilities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex (MIC).
In addition, on August 14, the FSB of Russia revealed details of a joint operation with the Russian Ministry of Defense to prevent the development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) OTRK "Sapsan". According to the agency, information about the start of production was received back in 2024. The specialists managed to uncover the facilities involved in the development of the Sapsan, as well as the German side's involvement in financing the AFU missile program and compromising materials on the heads of the military-industrial complex, who discussed the details of the creation of the OTRK.
