SRZP is working on a draft law on the prevention of bullying in schools

The Fair Russia - For Truth Party (NWRP) is involved in the development of a bill to counter bullying, the leader of the SRDP, Sergei Mironov, told Izvestia on August 14.

"My colleague in the faction, Yana Lantratova, has also been closely involved in the issue for a long time. She is one of the co—authors of the bill on countering bullying, which I hope the State Duma will consider in the fall. It is necessary to legislatively create a system of competent and rapid response to the bullying situation. And the key here should be the participation of not only parents and teachers, but also professional psychologists," he said.

The SRHR has long called on the Ministry of Education to ensure that every school has full-time psychologists. At the same time, the system of fines can exacerbate the problem of bullying, so there is no need to introduce administrative responsibility for bullying, Mironov believes.
