Melania Trump threatened Biden's son with a defamation lawsuit in the Epstein case
Melania, the wife of US president Donald Trump, threatened Hunter, the son of former White House president Joe Biden, with a $1 billion lawsuit for "false" and "defamatory" statements against her related to the case of financier Jeffrey Epstein, accused of abusing minors. This was reported on August 13 by the Fox News channel, citing sources.
According to the TV channel, on August 5, Hunter Biden released a video on YouTube called "Hunter Biden Returns." Later, Melania Trump's lawyer said that the video contains "false statements" and called for the content to be deleted.
In a video interview titled "Hunter Biden Returns," released earlier in August, the former eldest son stated, "Epstein introduced Melania to Trump. The ties between them are very wide and deep," the article says.
It is noted that Hunter Biden has not retracted his statements.
The Politico newspaper reported on July 23 about Trump's "rage" that he is experiencing due to excessive attention to the materials on the Epstein case. Later, on July 28, the Reuters news agency pointed to a possible undermining of the nation's trust in Trump due to the scandal over the Epstein case. On the same day, the American president expressed dissatisfaction with the gaffes his administration was making in this matter.
