A resident of the Lipetsk region attacked his brother with a knife

In the Lipetsk region, a 44-year-old man is accused of attacking his relative with a knife. The victim was seriously injured, the press service of the regional prosecutor's office reported on Tuesday, August 12.

The incident occurred on the afternoon of May 2 in the village of Malinovaya Polyana, Terbunsky district, GOROD48 writes. In one of the houses on Tsentralnaya Street, a drunken villager beat his brother and stabbed him in the lower back and chest.

A criminal case was opened against the attacker under paragraph "h" of Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Intentional infliction of serious harm to health using an object used as a weapon." The defendant faces up to 10 years in prison.
