Restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft were introduced at Ukhta airport in the Komi Republic. This was announced on August 12 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.

"Ukhta Airport: temporary restrictions have been imposed on the reception and release of aircraft," Korenyako wrote on his Telegram channel.

The representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency clarified that such measures were taken to ensure the safety of aircraft flights.

Earlier in the day, flights at Penza and Saratov airports were temporarily suspended. The restrictions were later lifted. In addition, flights were temporarily restricted at the airports of Nizhny Novgorod, Nizhnekamsk and Orenburg.
