In Kuzbass, a light-engine amphibious aircraft made a hard landing on the Tom River

In the Kemerovo region, a Borey amphibious light aircraft made a hard landing in the waters of the Tom River. This was reported on August 12 in the Telegram channel of the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office.

"According to preliminary data, on 08/09/2025, while performing a private flight, a light—engine aircraft, an amphibious aircraft Borey, made a hard landing in the waters of the Tom River near the village of Mozzhukha," the publication says.

The prosecutor's office has organized an investigation into the incident. At the moment, the circumstances of the incident are being established.

The fate of the airline, whose plane crashed on July 24, will be decided by the Federal Air Transport Agency.

Earlier, on August 10, in the city of Chita, Zabaykalsky Krai, the Angara aircraft of the Chita – Chara direction returned to the airport due to a technical malfunction. It was clarified that there were no casualties as a result of the incident. The investigators opened a criminal case under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of air transport").
