HC Salavat Yulaev has terminated the contract with striker Joshua Livo
The leadership of the hockey club (HC) Salavat Yulaev terminated the contract with the scorer Joshua Livo. This information was confirmed by the player's agent Ivan Botev on August 11.
"The club terminated the contract with Josh, citing the fact that he did not arrive at the team's location on time," he told the Sport-Express newspaper.
According to Botev, Salavat Yulaev knew that Livo had not yet received a visa, so he could not arrive earlier. The agent also noted that they had an agreement with the club, so the decision to terminate the contract came as a surprise.
In addition, Botev and Livo will seek the 50% of the salary due to the player under the terminated contract. It is specified that the athlete's salary is 110 million rubles per season.
On August 6, the Vancouver Canucks hockey club of the National Hockey League (NHL) signed a one-year contract with Russian striker Vitaly Kravtsov. It is noted that the striker played 64 NHL games with HC New York Rangers and Vancouver Canucks, scoring 12 points (6+6+12 ) and earning 14 penalty minutes.
