Virtual tours of the exhibition's museums have appeared on the VDNH website.
3D tours of the complex's exhibition spaces, including the Cosmonautics and Aviation Center, the Slovo Museum of Slavic Writing, and the Museum of Heroism, have appeared on the VDNH website. This was told by Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalia Sergunina.
The section with online tours is located in the general menu. "The project has been prepared for the 86th anniversary of VDNH. Thanks to him, Muscovites and tourists can get acquainted with the expositions of the five sites online. The list will grow in the future," Sergunina said.
One of the 3D tours takes place at the Tretyakov Gallery exhibition, which was open in Pavilion No. 1 "Central" until mid-July. Users will see paintings, sculptures, and other works by Soviet and modern authors. Among them is a model of Vera Mukhina's monumental composition "Worker and Collective farmer" and a high relief "Glory to the Standard—Bearer of Peace, to the Soviet people!" created by a group of craftsmen led by Evgeny Vuchetich (it was considered lost, but was found during the comprehensive restoration of the pavilion).
You can also virtually walk around the VDNKh Museum. There is a model of the Druzhba Narodov fountain, as well as archival photographs telling about different periods of the complex's development.
A year ago, another project was launched, which introduces the sights of the exhibition. It is a virtual replica of the complex, where 114 objects and 566 exhibits have been recreated using gaming industry technologies.
