Russian military personnel have killed up to 50 militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and two Abrams tanks in the Sumy region with aerial bombs and "Geran-2" drones, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on August 11.

The agency published footage of a complex strike by Su-34 aircraft crews and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crews in the area of the concentration of the mechanized battalion of the 144th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region.

It is noted that as a result of the strike, up to 50 militant personnel, an ammunition depot and up to 10 units of foreign military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including two Abrams tanks, four Bredly infantry fighting vehicles, as well as other vehicles and armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, were destroyed.

Earlier in the day, Russian military personnel hit the launch position of the S-300V anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine using a Geran-2 drone. It is noted that the position of the Ukrainian militants was hit near the village of Vorozhba in Sumy region.
