Tire recycling plant to be built in Stavropol

A tire processing plant will be opened in Stavropol to turn tires into rubber chips, which will later be used to make rubber tiles. This was announced by the head of the region, Vladimir Vladimirov, in his Telegram.

Previously, a place was allocated for the plant on Kolomiytseva Street 13/1. More than 50 million rubles will be invested in the construction and launch of the facility.

The investor plans to produce up to 45 thousand square meters of tiles per year, writes IA StavropolMedia. The new production facility is expected to be operational as early as 2026.

Earlier it was reported that the Stavropol authorities will develop a law to solve the problem of unauthorized landfills and sanitary cleaning around container sites. The draft will be sent to the federal authorities for consideration.
