Law enforcement agencies are looking for a man driving a truck who deliberately tried to drive into a group of people in Novosibirsk. This was reported in the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.

"Currently, investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia are conducting a complex of investigative actions and operational search measures aimed at detaining the person involved and establishing the circumstances of the incident," the report says.

The criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder of two or more persons).

According to the regional prosecutor's office, the man ran over people twice while driving a dump truck. The accident occurred at house No. 79B on Petukhov Street in the Kirovsky district of Novosibirsk. The driver was unable to shoot down passers-by, as people managed to run in different directions. The victims did not require hospitalization, they were treated on the spot.
