In the UK, law enforcement officers prevented a terrorist attack planned by a 16-year-old teenager at a mosque in Greenock. This was reported on August 11 by Sky News channel.

According to Sky News, the minor pretended to convert to Islam in order to set fire to the mosque and carry out a massacre. It is specified that the boy was inspired by the activities of Hitler and the Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik. He hoped that on the day of the terrorist attack, 275 believers would be in the prayer architectural structure.

"It is known that the teenager boasted on the Internet about his plans to broadcast the attack live," the material says.

His illegal activities were stopped by the police. An air pistol, knives and components for making explosives were found in the teenager's bag.

In Virginia, on July 30, a man tried to burn a local deputy. It was clarified that because of the Shotsy conflict, Michael Buck Hayes doused city councilman Lee Vogler with a flammable liquid. After that, the men went outside, where the suspect set fire to the deputy, as a result of which he received serious burns. The police caught the suspect a few blocks away.
