An earthquake of magnitude 6.0 was recorded in Kamchatka. This was announced on Sunday, August 10, by the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Telegram channel.

According to seismologists, the epicenter was located 215 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the center lay at a depth of 33 km. There has been no information about his sensitivity yet.

On August 3, 10 significant earthquakes were recorded in Kamchatka, and more than 65 earthquakes occurred in just one day. The next day, the situation repeated itself: seven significant earthquakes occurred during the day. On August 9, it was reported that 43 aftershocks were recorded in the Kamchatka Territory after the earthquake.

A day later, it became known that the Klyuchevskaya volcano had made an ash release to a height of up to 10 km.
