People's Artist of Russia Ivan Krasko died after a serious long-term illness, the press service of the Komissarzhevskaya Theater reported on August 9.
The theater on its page on the VKontakte social network promised to inform separately about the date and place of farewell to Krasko.
Director Vladimir Bortko told Izvestia that Ivan Krasko was an actor who accompanied him all his life.
"The artist who accompanied my life all these years <...> He starred in two films with me, and I remember him with great respect. Unfortunately, no one lasts forever," said the director.
On this day, People's Artist of Russia, Soviet and Russian actor of theater, cinema and dubbing Ivan Krasko died at the age of 95. Since 1965, Krasko served at the St. Petersburg Academic Drama Theater named after V.F. Komissarzheskaya. Krasko also has more than 200 feature films, TV series, and performance films under his belt.
