A woman and two children were killed in a car collision near Saratov

A Peugeot and Toyota car collided near the village of Lipovka in the Lysogorsky district of the Saratov region, killing a woman and two children. This was announced by the head of the regional security department, Yuri Yurin, in his Telegram channel.

"As a result of an accident, a woman died from a Peugeot. Two children died from the second car," Nikita Zrada, head of the Saratov Region rescue service, quotes Yurin as saying.

Two children and two adults were hospitalized. Rescuers of the regional rescue service use a hydraulic tool to unlock the bodies of the dead. Rescuers, paramedics and traffic police officers are working at the scene. All the circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

It was clarified that the Toyota Corolla Axio car, driven by a 34-year-old driver, drove into a forbidding traffic light, where it collided with a Subaru Impreza car. At the same time, both passengers and one of the drivers were not wearing seat belts at the time of the incident.
