According to the mayor, the Moscow International Film Week will be held in the capital for the second time from August 23 to 27. The event will be attended by representatives of the film industry from more than 20 countries, including China, the UAE, Brazil, France and Egypt.

"Muscovites and guests of the city will enjoy free film screenings on the Moskino network, the Khudozhestvenny and the Kinotrak, a unique mobile cinema that will run through the parks and iconic venues of the capital. There will also be a film promotion charity auction and the traditional Movie Night event," Sergei Sobyanin said.

Moscow will turn into an outdoor cinema for five days. Premieres, favorite TV series — all this can be seen for free at the Moskino cinemas, as well as in almost every park in Moscow, thanks to a unique traveling cinema track — a mobile cinema with films showing in the most unexpected places in Moscow.

Within the framework of the Moscow International Film Week, for the first time in Russia, an open charity auction of the film review will be held. On August 26, at Patriarch's Ponds, Muscovites and guests of the capital will be able to purchase unique artifacts that participated in the filming of popular Russian films and TV series: costumes, decorative elements, props from film sets and much more.

The business program of the Moscow International Film Week will be attended by representatives of the film industry from more than 20 countries, including China, the United Arab Emirates, Brazil, India, France and Egypt. The updated Moscow film infrastructure and the capabilities of the Moscow Film Cluster will be presented to foreign delegations as part of the Mayor's Moscow – the City of Cinema project. Guests of the capital will learn about one of the world's largest filming locations – the Moskino Film Park, the Moskino film factory with a unique design for Russia made of LED screens for virtual production, a film platform and a film commission that simplify the organization of filming, and a rebate system that will compensate up to 30% of the cost of filming in Moscow..

The dynamic development of the film infrastructure makes Moscow one of the most convenient and profitable cities for filming global blockbusters.

The entrance to the business program will be open not only to representatives of the film industry, but also to film lovers: you will be able to meet famous actors and directors in person. Autograph sessions with foreign and Russian media personalities are planned as part of the business program.
