In the Republic of Dagestan, an 18-year-old pedestrian was killed by a car on the federal highway "Caucasus". This was announced on August 7 by the State Traffic Inspectorate for the region in its Telegram channel.

"At the 857th kilometer of the Caucasus Federal District, in the Karabudakhkentsky district, a 37-year-old resident of Sergokala, driving a Hyundai Solaris car, hit an 18-year-old resident of the Volgograd region, who was crossing the roadway outside the pedestrian crossing area," the report said.

It is noted that the pedestrian died on the spot from his injuries.
