The landscaping of the Vinogradovo estate in the Long Ponds Nature Reserve in the northeast of Moscow is half completed, the press service of the metropolitan complex of urban economy reported on Thursday, August 7.

According to Pyotr Biryukov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Housing and Communal Services and Landscaping, the project takes into account the status of the cultural heritage site: the historical appearance and layout will be preserved as much as possible, while the territory will be adapted for modern use.

Currently, an ecotrope is being installed behind the front area and at the Small Long Pond, lighting is being installed, fences are being replaced and a sports cluster with fields for mini-football and volleyball, a skatepark and a workout area is being created, writes RT.

The infrastructure will be made in eco-style: gazebos, benches, a rotunda and an event area will appear. The access road surface will be restored in the front area, the roadway and sidewalks will be repaired on Dolgoprudnaya Alley, and a recreational space will be set up on the western shore of the pond.

Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin opened a new pedestrian embankment in the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve. Its length was 3.5 km, according to "Moscow 24".
