Two adults and a child were killed in a truck accident in the Moscow region.
As a result of a collision between a car and a truck in the Kashira city district of the Moscow region, three people were killed, including a young child. This was announced on Thursday, August 7, by the regional department of the Interior Ministry.
The accident occurred at about 19:20 on the 12th km of the Kashira –Silver Ponds – Uzlovaya highway. According to preliminary data, the driver of a Sitrak truck missed a VAZ passenger car when turning left, resulting in a collision.
"As a result of the accident, the driver and two passengers of the car, including a young child, died on the spot," the department's Telegram channel said.
Traffic police officers are working at the scene. Measures are being taken to establish all the circumstances of the incident. The issue of initiating a criminal case under Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules that caused the death of people") is being resolved.
On the same day, seven minors were injured in a car rollover accident in Tuva. It was clarified that as a result of the accident, two 16-year-olds, four 15-year-olds and one 10-year-old child were injured.
