President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump after a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff. On August 6, the head of the Kiev regime announced this in his Telegram channel.

"I had a conversation with President Trump. This conversation took place after the visit of Trump's representative Steven Witkoff to Moscow. <...> European leaders also took part in the conversation," he said.
