Putin called raising the standard of living of Russians the main goal

Russia's main goal is to improve the standard and quality of life of people in the country. This was announced on August 6 by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting on the development of the construction industry.

On the eve of Builder's Day, the Russian leader congratulated workers and veterans of the construction complex and noted the experience and high qualifications of specialists who help achieve the goals of the state.

"Thanks to your experience, high qualifications and dedication to your work, you are implementing large—scale infrastructure projects. <...> You are beautifying public spaces and making a huge contribution to achieving our main goal of improving the standard and quality of life of people," the head of Russia said.
