An aftershock of magnitude 6.4 was recorded in Kamchatka. This was announced on August 6 by the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences (USGS RAS) in the Telegram channel.
It is noted that the earthquake occurred 213 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
The source was recorded at a depth of almost 39 km in the Pacific Ocean.
