Boris Yukhananov, the artistic director of the Stanislavsky Electrotheatre, actor, director and screenwriter, died after a long illness. This was announced on August 5 in the press service of the theater in the Telegram channel.

"Boris Yuryevich Yukhananov passed away after a long illness," the message says.

The theater added that the director was a great artist, thinker and a man of the world with a great future.

Yukhananov's death at the age of 68 became known earlier that day. He has been artistic director of the Electrotheatre since 2013.

Film director Alexei German said that Yukhananov was a focal point and a beacon for Russian art, around which talented people always gathered.
