One of the defendants in the case of the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall in the Moscow region offered the victims 1,000 rubles each as compensation for harm. Lawyer Ksenia Trunova informed Izvestia about this on August 5.

According to her, Umejon Soliev, one of the accomplices of the militants, spoke about this amount (he is included in the list of terrorists and extremists in the Russian Federation).

"I offered the victims 1,000 rubles for their moral and physical suffering, which, of course, is quite ridiculous, given that we represent mostly serious harm or relatives of the victims, and 1,000 rubles is too ridiculous an amount and rather looks like an attempt to evade responsibility," the representative of the victims emphasized.

Trunova clarified that further decisions will be made with the victims in consultations.

The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall took place on March 22, 2024. Terrorists in camouflage broke into the building of the concert hall, started shooting and set fire to the premises. As a result of the incident, 149 people were killed, 609 were injured and injured in various degrees of severity, and one person was missing.

Three perpetrators of the terrorist act on August 4 of this year fully admitted guilt, the fourth partially admitted. The 11 accomplices also made only partial confessions of guilt. The four defendants insist on their innocence. On the same day, their arrest was extended for five months, until January 7, 2026.
