The Ministry of Defense published footage of the liberation of the settlement of January

On August 5, the Russian Ministry of Defense released footage of the liberation of the village of January in the Dnipropetrovsk region by soldiers of the 37th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 36th Combined Arms Army of the Vostok group of forces.

The presented footage shows the combat work of Russian military personnel in this area, as well as the firing of gj at enemy positions. It is noted that artillery calculations and attack drones provided active support to the Russian army.

The ministry clarified that the Ukrainian military had to retreat and abandon their positions during the offensive.

The January release was announced by the Ministry of Defense earlier in the day. Also, units of the Vostok group of forces eliminated the manpower and equipment of Ukrainian militants in the areas of the settlements of Iskra and Alexandrograd of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The enemy lost an armored combat vehicle, two vehicles, an artillery piece, as well as more than 205 military personnel.
