A Finnish pleasure boat has illegally crossed the border with Russia in the Gulf of Finland. This was announced on August 5 by the Finnish Border Guard on the official website.

"The Coast Guard of the Gulf of Finland is investigating an unauthorized border crossing that occurred in Virolahti on July 27, 2025. The pleasure boat illegally crossed the maritime border of Finland and Russia and returned back," the report says.
