More than 3,500 wild cannabis bushes were destroyed in the Khabarovsk Territory.
As part of the interdepartmental integrated operational and preventive operation "Mac-2025" in the Komsomolsk and Nikolaevsky districts of the Khabarovsk Territory, police officers destroyed more than 3,500 bushes of wild cannabis. This was announced on August 5 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region in its Telegram channel.
"The operational staff for drug trafficking control of the main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Komsomolsk region, together with employees of the Main Directorate (GU) of the FSB of Russia for the Khabarovsk Territory, military personnel of the military unit and a representative of the administration of the Komsomolsk region <... Drug-containing plants were eliminated on a total area of 189 sq. m. A total of 659 bushes were burned on the spot. The weight of the destroyed cannabis was 198 kg," the ministry said in a statement about the Komsomolsk district.
3129 cannabis bushes with a total weight of 94 kg were destroyed in Mykolaiv district.
Earlier that day, 840 cannabis bushes were found in the Primorsky Territory of a local resident. It is noted that 700 g of dried Manchurian cannabis was also found. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Primorsky Territory, the suspect was growing a prohibited plant for personal consumption.
