The Russian government will allocate more than 40 billion rubles to the Kursk region. This was announced on August 4 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

He stressed the importance of helping citizens and businesses where they work so that people who have lost their homes can return to normal life.

"We will allocate more than 40 billion rubles to the Kursk region. The funds will be used, among other things, to continue monthly payments in connection with the loss of essential property," Mishustin said during an operational meeting with the deputy prime ministers.

The Prime Minister specified that the total amount of financing exceeded 100 billion rubles. In addition, Kabin will allocate more than 1.5 billion rubles to pay for temporary downtime of employees for reasons beyond their control or the employer.

Mishustin also noted that, on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, work is underway to provide additional support to residents of the Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk regions.

Earlier, on July 10, Putin instructed to develop a program for the restoration and development of territories affected by shelling and terrorist attacks by Ukrainian militants. It is proposed to pay special attention to the organization of interaction with the heads of the affected municipalities and public organizations, including volunteer ones.
