In St. Petersburg, a 17-year-old student rode a motorcycle onto a lawn near the roadway and hit a six-year-old boy. This was announced on August 3 by a source of Izvestia.

"On the evening of August 2, a teenager was riding a pit bike on a lawn along the Primorsky Highway in Setroretsk and at full speed flew into a child who was running across the grass," the source said.

The boy was taken to the intensive care unit in serious condition. Doctors diagnosed him with a concussion, a closed craniocerebral injury and numerous bruises.

In Cheboksary on July 7, a man in a car hit a five-year-old girl on Kommunalnaya Sloboda Street. According to preliminary data, the woman and her daughter ran across the roadway outside the pedestrian crossing.
