The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the statement by the Secretary General of the United Nations (UN), Antonio Guterres, about the decrease in the demand for UN reports with Vladimir Mayakovsky's poem "Those who have been sitting". She posted the corresponding post on the Telegram channel on August 2.

"Just like Mayakovsky's in the immortal "The Departed": "You can't sleep with excitement. It's early in the morning. I dream of meeting an early dawn: "Oh, at least one more meeting regarding the eradication of all meetings!" she wrote.

Guterres said on August 1 that UN reports were "rarely read" and were generally longer than before. According to the Secretary General, only 5% of reports become popular, and they are downloaded more than 5,000 times.
