Two children were injured in a collision between a boat and a boat on a reservoir in the Tver region, a criminal case has been opened. This was announced on August 2 by the Western Interregional Investigative Department for Transport (MCT) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia.

It was established that on July 30, the Berkut-S boat in the Polonovka River channel in the Selizharovsky district of the Tver region, while exceeding a safe speed, collided with an inflatable boat carrying a man with two children. As a result of the collision, the children were injured and were hospitalized.

A criminal case has been opened under Part 1.1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of inland waterway transport by a person operating a small vessel, which negligently caused serious harm to human health").
