The United Nations (UN), ignoring the crimes committed by Kiev, damages its own reputation. This was announced on August 1 by the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation Dmitry Polyansky at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Ukraine.

"The Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces of Ukraine. Every day, up to several hundred drones are launched on the territory of Russia, and they deliberately hit civilian targets," he said.

Polyansky noted that 155 civilians had been injured in attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the past week alone.

In addition, the Russian permanent representative commented on the group strike of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) using high-precision long-range weapons on the ammunition depots of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Kiev. He noted that this operation was carried out against objects related to the military potential of Ukraine.

"This was once again confirmed by videos of Ukrainian users on social networks, which clearly show the secondary detonation of ammunition at the destroyed facilities. <...> Our armed Forces acted in strict accordance with international humanitarian law and did not target civilian targets," concluded Polyansky.

On July 10, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed concern about the increased level of politicization and confrontation observed in the UN Human Rights Council (HRC). The press service of the ministry clarified that the joint efforts of the states in strengthening mutual respect in international relations are important for the Russian side.
