As a result of the collision of a small vessel with a barge in the village of Staroselka on the Volga, four people were injured. This was announced on August 1 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Tver region.

"In the water area of the Volga River near the settlement of Staroselka in the Kalyazinsky municipal district, a small vessel collided with a barge," the department's Telegram channel said.

It is specified that three victims were taken to the hospital, one person refused to be hospitalized.

There could have been more victims, but 310 vacationers were rescued by the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

On July 30, the Eastern Interregional SU for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia announced that a criminal case had been opened in the Krasnoyarsk Territory over the collision of two boats on the Chuna River. It was reported that one of the skippers drowned.
