In the Belgorod region, two people died as a result of a drone strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on August 1 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"In the area of the village of Urazovo, Valuysky district, an FPV drone attacked two civilians who were walking to a bus stop," Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, the man and the young man died on the spot from their injuries.

On the same day, Gladkov reported that two civilians were injured as a result of Ukrainian UAV strikes on cars in the Belgorod region. It is specified that the victims were hospitalized with a mine explosion injury and shrapnel wounds.
