India noted the stability of partnership relations with Russia
New Delhi and Moscow have strong partnerships. This was announced on August 1 by Indian Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal in an interview with reporters.
"New Delhi and Moscow are linked by 'stable and time-tested partnerships,'" Bloomberg quoted Jaiswal as saying.
In addition, the minister also noted that India's relations with other countries are independent of others and "have their own value and should not be viewed through the prism of a third country."
On July 15, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar confirmed their commitment to intensifying the bilateral strategic partnership. On that day, the ministers met and discussed, in addition to the issues of relations between Moscow and New Delhi, the situation around Ukraine and the Middle East.
