In Egypt, pyrotechnics exploded at a concert by popular local performer Mohammed Ramadan, killing one person and injuring at least six others. This was reported on August 1 by the news portal Sada Elbalad with reference to the authorities.

"A tragic incident interrupted the concert of superstar Mohamed Ramadan at Porto Golf on the North Coast: one employee was killed and six injured due to a malfunction of the fireworks," the article says.

It is noted that this happened due to the explosion of an air pipe connected to the fireworks system. According to the portal, all the victims receive the necessary medical care.

"The authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the malfunction of the fireworks and the security measures taken to hold such a significant event," the publication clarifies.

The Bild newspaper reported on July 19 that 19 people, including one child, were injured at a traditional fair in the German city of Dusseldorf due to a firework explosion. The organizer decided to end the fair ahead of schedule.
