Five employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations were injured as a result of a drone strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the town of Popasnaya in the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR). This was announced on July 31 by the press service of the department.

"This afternoon, firefighters went to the site of the fire in the town of Popasnaya. On the way to the fire and rescue unit, a targeted attack by an enemy drone was carried out," the department said in a Telegram channel message.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, all the victims received an akubar injury. They were taken to the hospital, where they are receiving the necessary medical care. There is no threat to their lives. A fire tanker truck was also damaged.

On the same day, a civilian was injured as a result of a drone strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Pogarsky district of the Bryansk region. It was clarified that the victim was taken to the hospital, where he received all necessary medical care.
