Traditionally, the bulk of high—profile game releases fall in the fall - studios adjust them for a series of seasonal holidays and New Year's holidays. August is traditionally considered a lull period for new products. But this time you can add the long-awaited new part of "Mafia" and other interesting projects of different scales to the vishlist. Details can be found in the Izvestia review.

One of the iconic parts of the Metal Gear series has received a remake. 20 years later, players will be transported back to the 60s of the last century and, together with CIA agent Snake, will travel to the Soviet Union to rescue scientist Nikolai Sokolov. The game got the letter "Delta" in the name for a reason — this is how the developers decided to emphasize continuity and respect for the original locations and mechanics. But the graphics and animations have been significantly improved to meet the requirements of modern platforms and the Unreal Engine 5.

The game will have two camera modes. For those who are nostalgic, there is a classic fixed top view and controls, as in the PlayStation2 version of the game, as well as a modern mode with a third—person view. Also, for the first time in the series, the fox hunt multiplayer mode will be available, in which players will be able to compete in stealth hide-and-seek.

Fans have finally waited for the new installment of one of Russia's most popular crime game series. The game takes place in Sicily at the beginning of the 20th century, in the fictional city of San Celeste, a place of events already familiar to players from the second Mafia. You will play as Enzo Favara, a young Sicilian who, after a hard job in a sulfur mine, aspires to join the Torrisi mafia family and build a criminal career. The plot will reveal the details of the origin of the mafia structure in Sicily and deepen the history of the franchise. The game's focus will be on linear storytelling and atmosphere.

The creators also promise an open world, but not as large-scale as in the third game of the series. Players will receive a new, traditionally "Sicilian" arsenal and modes of transportation appropriate to the era: car and horse chases.

Sword of the Sea

When it will be released: August 19

The environment of the world will live and change: thus, the restored water will expand the game areas, jellyfish, fish, algae, whales and dolphins will appear, which will help the hero move on.

The world of the game combines the technological future and medieval fantasy in an original way, and the hero will be helped by a dragon who can transform into a variety of weapons.

The creators were inspired by Bayonetta, Devil May Cry and Final Fantasy, so they promise explosive gameplay and an epic storyline. Whether the promises come true will become clear at the end of the month.

Cute and cheerful sim about supermarket management. The player will uncover the secrets of the town of Blomkest, introduce its inhabitants, help make friends or even make enemies. The gameplay is as close as possible to the real life of retail chains: you have to equip the store, control the quantity of goods, release customers at the checkout and conclude trade deals. But while developing your business empire, it is important not to forget to keep an eye on the affairs of the town. Some residents may not like such rapid success and the choice of wealth at the cost of universal well-being.
