One person died as a result of a fire in a five-storey residential building in Balashikha, Moscow region. This was announced on July 31 by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The fire occurred in an apartment located on the fifth floor. The transition to the roof of the house was recorded.

"At the moment, information is known about one deceased," the ministry said in a statement.
