A fish factory on the banks of Narva can be turned into a recreation center
A recreation center on the territory of the former fish factory may appear on the banks of the Narva River in Ivangorod. This was announced on Wednesday, July 30, according to the press service of the Leningrad Region administration.
This initiative was made by the participants of the Urbanist 2025 Summer School, writes 78.ru . Young urban planners assume that the project will help direct the tourist flow to the city, attract investment and develop several sectors of the economy at once.
Urbanists also saw the potential of Ivangorod in the development of a data center based on the Narva HPP, an agro-industrial cluster, and tourism and educational infrastructure.
Earlier in July, it was reported that the introduction of a paid entrance to ecological trails in the Leningrad Region had improved the condition of these natural areas. It also made it possible to raise more than 3 million rubles for their maintenance.
