Three people are missing after an explosion at the Horizon Biofuels plant in South Fremont, Nebraska. This was reported on July 30 by ABC News channel with reference to the regional authorities.
According to Fremont Fire Chief Todd Bernt, when rescuers arrived at the scene, there was "heavy smoke and a lot of flames in the building." Due to the collapse of the structure, fire crews were unable to get inside. There were three people in the building at the time of the explosion.
The fire Department has asked for support from the Nebraska Rapid Response Team, which is assessing the safety of conducting searches in the building, Bernt added. Fire crews are expected to be on site for several days.
