Named the best-selling cars in Moscow in 2025

The Geely Monjaro crossover became a bestseller on the Moscow car market in the first half of 2025. In six months, 2.7 thousand such new cars were sold in the capital, the analytical agency Autostat reported on July 30.

The second place in the model rating was taken by the Belgee X50 produced in Belarus (2.6 thousand units), and the leader of 2024, Haval Jolion (2.4 thousand units) from the Tula Region factory, is on the third line. The top five also included the Belgee X70 and Lada Granta (1,9 thousand and 1,8 thousand units, respectively).

The Haval brand became the leader in the brand rating (by the end of 2024, Geely was in the lead) with a result of 7.1 thousand copies. Geely is in second position (6.8 thousand units), and Lada has risen to third place (4.9 thousand units). This is followed by Chery (4.7 thousand units) and Belgee (4.4 thousand units). The indicators of the other brands amounted to less than 4 thousand cars.

In just six months, 67,000 new passenger cars were sold in Moscow, which is 28% less year-on-year. Chinese brands accounted for 65% of the capital's car market in the first half of the year. At the same time, a year ago, the share of brands from China was at the level of 70%.

The day before, it was reported that in 2025, more than 20% of the secondary car market in Russia is accounted for by cars manufactured more than 20 years ago. Over the past six months, 315 thousand such cars have been resold. The bestseller of this market segment is the Toyota brand.
