About 30 dogs became victims of a fire in a Volgograd private shelter. This was reported on July 30 in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
The fire occurred on Angarsk Street. The fire engulfed the wooden floors inside the metal room with enclosures, where there were about 300 dogs.
"Most of the pets were saved, but about 30 died," the department's Telegram channel says.
The fire area was 250 sq. m. The cause of the fire is being determined.
Earlier that day, a fire broke out in the village of Pridorozhny in the Samara region on an area of 1 thousand square meters. m. The fire engulfed six houses. 84 firefighters and 25 pieces of equipment were involved in the elimination of the fire. The fire was contained. No injuries or deaths were reported.
