During the earthquake in Kamchatka, there was a lot of shaking, the walls rattled. Svetlana, a local resident, told Izvestia about this on July 30.

She shared that at the time of the seismological event, she was sitting in her office and heard a rumble, after which a sharp shaking began.

"I run out of the back room, there are customers sitting here. We all went outside. Everything fell off the shelves. It was shaking very hard, the walls were rattling," Svetlana noted.

The published footage shows the fall of goods from the shelves of the store, including drinks in glass bottles.

The earthquake occurred earlier in the day, and a tsunami threat was announced on the coast of Avacha Bay in Kamchatka. As a result of a seismic event in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the collapse of the wall of one of the kindergartens was recorded. A state of emergency has been introduced in the North Kuril region of the Sakhalin Region.

Later, the governor of the Sakhalin Region, Valery Limarenko, reported on the first wave of the tsunami that struck the territory of the coastal zone of Severo-Kurilsk. There are no casualties or serious damage. He added that residents are being evacuated in the city, and all necessary measures have been taken to ensure people's safety.

In Kamchatka, one woman was injured, and doctors assess her condition as satisfactory.
