On July 29, the Russian Ministry of Defense spoke about the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation.

The ministry noted the actions of Private Sergei Burmistrov, who, as part of the intelligence group, carried out tasks to protect the positions of Russian units in an important tactical area. So, while at an observation post at night, he discovered a sabotage group of militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), secretly moving in a nearby forest plantation in the direction of the positions of Russian units. After assessing the situation and reporting on the approaching saboteurs, the soldier took an advantageous position, let the enemy get closer and opened fire to kill, forcing the Ukrainian militants to set up a shelter in a hurry, and held them until reinforcements arrived.

Thanks to Burmistrov's vigilance, they managed to detain and interrogate the commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces sabotage group, who informed them about the location of the stronghold, the routes of approach to it and firing points. After clarifying the coordinates of the camouflaged enemy stronghold, it was destroyed by Russian artillery fire. The bold and decisive actions of Private Burmistrov helped repel the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, destroy the enemy's masked stronghold and occupy new important firing points with Russian attack aircraft.

In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense noted the actions of Sergeant Nikita Post, who, as part of the assault group, carried out tasks to occupy new positions and clear out the AFU strongholds on one of the important sections of the front line. After taking up new positions, a group of Russian attack aircraft came under fire from mortars and enemy FPV attack drones.

After assessing the situation and conducting a reconnaissance of the airspace, the Post was the first to detect a reconnaissance Ukrainian drone correcting the fire of its mortars. Having quickly estimated the distance to the target and having taken an advantageous position for shooting, the Russian serviceman destroyed the enemy drone with well-aimed shots. After that, the Russian attack aircraft took up reserve positions and gained a foothold in the new territory. Thanks to the courageous and decisive actions of the sergeant, it was possible to gain a foothold in new positions and avoid losses among the group's personnel.
