Stylist and accessories designer Anna Skorokhodova said that trends in the world of swimwear are constantly being updated, but now fusion models are at the peak of popularity.
In an interview with Radio 1 on Monday, July 28, the stylist noted that although mini-bikinis in the spirit of the noughties remain in fashion, it is important to take into account the features of the figure when choosing a swimsuit. Monokini are especially relevant now — fused models with decorative joints between the top and bottom. They look stylish and at the same time leave the body as open to sunburn as possible.
Sports models with a wide top and high-top swimming trunks made of textured materials are also on trend. Skorokhodova advised to avoid swimsuits with translucent inserts and fabrics through which intimate areas can shine through.
On the same day, Skorokhodova talked about the dress code on the beach. According to her, it's okay to wear a swimsuit on the beach, but on the way to your vacation spot, you should still put on a T—shirt, light shirt or other clothes in a relaxed style. It is considered unethical and inappropriate to appear in a swimsuit or swimming trunks outside the tanning area, writes RT.
