The average premium for annual CTP policies in the first half of 2025 amounted to 7,278 rubles, which is 5% lower year-on-year. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Russian Union of Motor Insurers (RSA).

According to him, the average payment for annual CTP policies increased by 16.6% over the same period and amounted to 110.2 thousand rubles. In June, the avtograzhdanki policy cost 7,184 rubles (+4.8%), and the average payout was 116.8 thousand (+16.4%).

One of the main factors holding back the growth in the cost of the CTP policy is the high competition between insurers for careful drivers who comply with traffic regulations and avoid accidents. There are more and more such drivers, which significantly affects the dynamics of the market, explained the head of the RSA Evgeny Ufimtsev.

According to RSA estimates, the total amount of payments for the first half of the year amounted to 115.1 billion rubles. Of these, 110 billion rubles are payments from insurers; 4 billion rubles are court overheads; 1.1 billion rubles are payments from the RSA compensation fund. During this period, 23 million contracts were concluded, of which 2.2 million contracts were for short-term CTP policies. The CTP premiums collected during this period amounted to 155.3 billion rubles.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that in 16 regions of Russia, the CTP price was higher than the national average, compared to 13 a year ago. This happened against the background of a general decrease in the average cost of the policy.
