Another illegal private boarding house for the elderly was closed in Krasnoyarsk

In Krasnoyarsk, at the request of the prosecutor's office, another illegal private boarding house was banned from operating, whose activities were considered dangerous. The regional supervisory authority announced this in its Telegram channel on Monday, July 28.

We are talking about a boarding house for the elderly and disabled, Kadutse LLC, located in residential premises on Svetlogorskaya Street. During the inspection, the prosecutor's office revealed gross violations of the law in the institution.

"Without the necessary medical license, the staff of the boarding house undertook dangerous procedures: they gave injections, gave medications and performed other medical manipulations, risking the health of people who trusted them," the report says.

In total, eight guests lived in the boarding house, according to KrasnoyarskMedia news agency. Violations of sanitary standards and safety rules were also found in the premises where they provided social services.

The court fully satisfied the prosecutor's claim. The boarding house is closed and its activities are prohibited.

Almost a year ago, in June 2024, it was reported about the closure of a boarding house in the Yemelyanovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, where 11 elderly people died at once in 2023. The decision to close was made based on the results of an audit by the prosecutor's office.
